The 2022-23 Eric Brewer Award winner is defenceman Ethan Samson. The Eric Brewer Award is given to the Cougars' top defenceman.
Samson, 19, posted career highs in goals (18), assists (42) and points (60). The 19-year-old finished fifth in team scoring and was the second-highest scoring defenceman on the Cougars' roster. The Philadelphia Flyers prospect was third on the team in shots with 219.
