Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Former Green Bay Blizzard OL Aqua Etefia (6'2, 320, Grambling University) has signed with the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"It is a wonderful feeling coming from where I came from. I feel blessed playing for such a great organization like the Blizzard and getting the looks I got from the Force."
Etefia, a standout lineman at Grambling University, played two years in the af2 and was eyed as a player that could play at the next level.
"My dedication and sacrifice, along with my coaching staff and teammates, pushed me to get better every day."
Etefia is the second player from the 2007 Blizzard squad to sign with the Force after DB Stephen Cason signed on Thursday. Cason and Etefia will join other Blizzard alums in Georgia. QB Chris Greisen, WR Brent Holmes, DB David Crocker, and FB/LB Matt Huebner have all spent time with the Blizzard, and now will welcome another Blizzard alum to their team.
