(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos have signed offensive lineman Joel Figueroa.
The six-foot-six, 320-pound product of Miami spent the last three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he played 26 career games (26 starts).
In five seasons at the University of Miami (2006-11), Figueroa played 43 games. He was granted an extra year of NCAA eligibility after sustaining an injury in 2010. The following year, he won the Community Service Man of the Year Award.
