Esks mourn passing of former team president

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club is saddened by the passing of former team President Jack E. Baker at the age of 83 on December 2, 2005.

Baker served as President of the Edmonton Eskimos from 1969 - 1970. He was a club director for eight years during which time he served as the team's treasurer for five seasons. Baker, who was a well-respected Edmonton chartered accountant for over 50 years, took an active role in numerous local charities and community organizations.
