
Esks busy with off-field moves

The Edmonton Eskimos today announced that Greg Treble has been named Director of Business Operations. Previously, he served as the club's Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Corporate Partnerships. In his new role, Treble will oversee areas such as sales, sponsorship, game day operations, ticketing, customer service and community relations. Prior to joining the Esks in 2003, Treble held several key sales related positions with Molson Canada and has also worked for Xerox and Second Dimension International. He was also the General Manager of the 1997 Canadian Bowl champion Regina Rams.
Brad Morgan will join the Eskimo team as Community Relations Coordinator. Morgan brings a wealth of sports experience to his new role that will elevate the profile of the club's community programs. Morgan joins the Eskimos from the Williams Lake Timberwolves of the BC Junior Hockey League where he wears many hats as manager of sponsorship, ticket sales, P.R and advertising and radio play-by-play. Morgan has held senior sales positions with the Edmonton Drillers Soccer Club and minor pro hockey teams in Fort Worth and Amarillo, Texas.
Jason Tichon has been promoted to the newly created position of Manager of Partnerships and Game Day Operations. An Eskimo staffer since 2000, Tichon has, over the past three years, assumed a key role in sponsorship, specifically contract negotiations and partnership fulfillment. In the area of Game Day operations, Jason will oversee all aspects of the Eskimo in-stadium experience from entertainment to security.
