Esks Add Running Back and Defensive Lineman

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import running back Brad Lester and import defensive lineman Earl Heyman, the club announced today. Both will be added to the practice roster.

Brad Lester posted 20 TDs in 325 carries and 1,400 yards rushing during his four seasons at Auburn. He had six multiple touchdown games during his collegiate career.

5-11, 197lbs

Earl Heyman spent the 2009 season on the practice roster of the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints after signing as an undrafted free agent. He was released July 2010. In 49 career games (29 starts) at Louisville, Heyman registered 114 tackles (65 solo), 10 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and six fumble recoveries. Had a career best five sacks as a senior in 2008.
