
Eskimos zero in on 2008 CFL Canadian Draft

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos are making final preparations for Wednesday's 2008 CFL Canadian Draft. The Eskimos have six picks in this year's draft. The six-round draft features 753 eligible Canadian players from the CIS and NCAA.
Produced by TSN from the CFL on TSN Studio, the Draft is available live online at TSN.ca and CFL.ca. The final four rounds of the Draft can be followed on CFL.ca through real-time updates.
TSN host Rod Black welcomes CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon, who will be in-studio to announce each selection. They will be joined by the CFL on TSN panel. New CFL on TSN game analyst Duane Forde, who has covered the Draft on three previous occasions, will be part of a panel of experts including University of Western Ontario head coach and former Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach Greg Marshall, Saskatchewan Huskies head coach Brian Towriss, and TSN's Farhan Lalji.
Members of the Edmonton media can follow the proceedings from the news conference room (adjacent to the Eskimo Locker Room) at Commonwealth Stadium. Access the facility through the Commonwealth Stadium Fitness Centre and take the elevator to Level 1.
Eskimo Head Coach Danny Maciocia will be available in the news conference room 20 minutes after the conclusion of the draft.
