Edmonton Elks News Release

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club will unveil its signature uniform for the first time during the Labour Day Rematch against the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday September 6. A sneak peek of the signature helmet will be released in the week leading up to the game.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early for the Battle of Alberta to catch the first glimpse of the new uniforms during player warm-ups at 4 p.m.

The vision for the Eskimo signature uniform is to be bold while maintaining the strong tradition of the Green and Gold. The result is a fresh, dynamic design with a nod to the club's storied history.

Eskimo signature jerseys will be available for purchase at team store locations during the game, from the Eskimo Team Store at Commonwealth Stadium and online at shop.esks.com.

The Eskimos will wear the signature uniforms twice at home this season; first on September 6 and again on Monday October 13 when Edmonton hosts Winnipeg at Commonwealth Stadium on Thanksgiving Day.
