This Weekend's Labour Day Classic to be Shown on Big Screen at the Prairie Barge Fest

WINNIPEG, MB., August 27, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers would like to announce that the annual Labour Day Classic will be shown on a big screen at The Forks as part of The Prairie Barge Fest 2014. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders starting at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014. The Prairie Barge Fest 2014 is a free, family-friendly event.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are excited to take part in The Prairie Barge Fest 2014. This year the theme of Barge Fest is a celebration of Manitoba and Saskatchewan music, culture & sport. The Labour Day Classic and the rivalry between the Bombers and the Roughriders is a perfect fit.

"The Blue Bombers are thrilled to be included in such exciting and diverse programming, and look forward to being able to celebrate the Labour Day Classic and cheer on our Bombers in this unique atmosphere. This is part of a larger concerted effort by the Bombers to contribute to our community. This year the Bombers will be involved in over 75 community events around the Province.
