
Eskimos Sign Free Agent Receiver Greg Carr

( Edmonton ) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed ex-Winnipeg Blue Bomber receiver Greg Carr, the club announced today.
A standout at Florida State, Carr has spent the past two seasons with the Bombers. In his CFL debut ( 09/24/10 vs. Montreal ), Carr had a remarkable night with four receptions for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He finished his rookie season with 32 catches for 579 yards and four TDs .
In 2011, Carr posted 648 yards on 46 receptions and four touchdowns.
Eskimo General Manager Eric Tillman says, "We're very pleased to sign Greg. At 6'6 he creates significant matchup challenges for the opposition and we feel the success he enjoyed last year shows that his best football is in front of him."
