(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos have selected defensive lineman Mathieu Betts with the third overall pick in the 2019 CFL Draft.
The two time Vanier Cup champion became the first player in history to claim the J.P. Metras Trophy three times, making him the first to win four major U SPORTS awards during his career, including Rookie of the Year Award in 2015, and was named the U SPORTS Male Athlete of the Year for 2018.
