(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos today announced the signing of two defensive players. Import Defensive End Brandon Guillory played four seasons at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He played in 44 games (33 starts) totaling 132 tackles, 18 sacks, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four blocked kicks. He also broke the school career record for tackles for a loss with 41.5 (-185 yards). He attended the 2006 training camp of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Import Defensive Back Anthony Floyd played four seasons at Louisville where he racked up 268 tackles and 18 interceptions in 44 games (38 starts). He then spent two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, playing in 17 games and recording 56 tackles. He attended the 2006 training camp of the Houston Texans. Anthony is the cousin of B.C. Lion linebacker Otis Floyd.
