Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third consecutive win as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the middle game of a three-game series at Metro Bank Park. Last night, the 'Wolves battled back from a three-run deficit, scoring one in the eighth and two in the ninth, taking down the Senators 4-3 in 10 innings. Erie has played extra innings in three of the last four games and has won all three. After beginning the season 0-7 in extra innings affairs, the Howlers have won five consecutive in extra frames...The SeaWolves continue to be the hottest team in the Eastern League as they have rattled off wins in nine of their last 10 games. Since July 29, the 'Wolves are 13-4...The Senators are in the thick of the Western Division wild card race. The Sens have dropped two straight games and are currently tied with Akron for third in the division, two games behind wild card leading Bowie. Despite not being mathematically eliminated, the 'Wolves are 10.5 games out of a playoff spot with 20 games remaining...Erie sends righty Brooks Brown to the mound making his 26th appearance and 16th start. Brown has won his last three and four of his last five starts. In his last outing against New Britain, the righty allowed a run on seven hits in 6.2 innings of work. He is 2-0 in two August starts with an 0.57 ERA in his last two.

- Erie leads the season series over Harrisburg 3-2. The SeaWolves and Senators meet seven times in 2010.- Defensively, the 'Wolves have committed 125 errors on the season which is the most in the EL.- The 'Wolves have turned 144 double plays which ranks second in the EL.- The SeaWolves are eighth in the league with a 4.45 team ERA.
