Eric Werner Recalled To Manchester

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Eric Werner has been recalled to the Monarchs. Werner, a second year pro from Gross Pointe Woods, Michigan, played three games with the Royals last weekend and recorded two assists. In 51 games with the Monarchs this year, Werner has scored four goals and assisted on twenty others.

The Royals take on the South Carolina Stingrays in a two game series at the North Charleston Arena this Friday and Saturday night (7:05 pm). Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
