Rome, GA - Third baseman Eric Campbell has been placed on the disabled list with a back sprain. Campbell is having a fine season for Rome hitting .286 with 14 home runs and 56 RBI. He was also selected to the 2006 South Atlantic League All-Star team. Robert Marcial has been activated from the bereavement list.
Rome continues their home stand tonight against the Charleston RiverDogs. The Greenville Drive comes to town tomorrow to begin a four game series. For ticket information call 706-378-5144.
