
Epilepsy Run/Walk Set

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced that the team will be sponsoring the second Annual Senators Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy on Saturday, August 14th on City Island. The event will consist of a 5K run and a two-mile walk with proceeds going to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western/Central Pennsylvania.
Participants will be asked to raise money through donations for the event. Prizes will be awarded for the amount of money raised by individuals and teams. A tailgate party will be held following the event in the Carousel Pavilion at Commerce Bank Park.
Registration for the run/walk will take place at the pavilion at 8:30 A.M. on August 14th with the event kicking off at 9:30 A.M. The Senators' mascot, Rascal, will join the walkers during the day.
Senators' shortstop Josh Labandeira will co-chair the event with Rick Leiner from WHP-CBS 21 television and Kelly Iris from WINK 104. Members of the Senators front office as well as stadium employees will take part in the walk.
