Enyard Earns IFL Honors

DES MOINES - Iowa Barnstormers defensive back Bryce Enyard was named the Indoor Football League's Defensive Player of the Week for Week 10, the League announced today.

Enyard (6'0, 195, Northwest Missouri State) earned IFL Defensive Player of the Week Honors after leading the Barnstormers defense in a victory over the Green Bay Blizzard. The Barnstormers defense clamped down on the Blizzard, holding the team to just 25 points in a 46-25 win during Week 10. Enyard proved to be a defensive force in the backfield as he intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown. In addition to his two interceptions, Enyard also led the team with 10 tackles.

Enyard leads the league in interceptions with a total of seven on the season, having collected three in the last four games.

Enyard and the Barnstormers travel to face the Sioux Falls Storm in Week 11 before returning to Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, May 11 to take on in-state rivals the Cedar Rapids Titans. The Indoor Football League awarded running back Darrell Monroe of the Arizona Rattlers with Offensive Player of the Week, while wide receiver Dezmon Epps of the Arizona Rattlers earned Special Teams Player of the Week.
