
Emmanuel Clase Debuts with Rangers

FRISCO, Texas - Former Riders pitcher Emmanuel Clase made his Major League debut with the Rangers Sunday.
Clase pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings in Sunday's series finale against Detroit, recording a strikeout along the way. The 21-year-old was promoted to Frisco in late April and was a Texas League Midseason All-Star with the Riders this season. He had his contract selected by the Rangers Friday and was promoted directly from Frisco to the Major Leagues.
He is the 160th former Riders player to make his Major League debut and the 11th this season.
The Riders are back for seven games at Dr Pepper Ballpark Monday, August 5-Sunday, August 11. Tickets for those games and the season's final homestand August 20-25 are available at RidersBaseball.com.
