Emeralds Set to Wrap up An Eight Day Home Stand

EUGENE, OR - The Emeralds magical season continues tonight at PK Park. The summer home for baseball fans in Eugene has been electric all season, with the Ems winning at a record pace. The Ems promotion staff has managed to fill the schedule with great giveaways and charity events all season and the coming week is no different.

Monday means savings, or donations if you're feeling generous. Good Karma Monday is a way for everyone to watch baseball and support a good cause. Fans who buy their tickets at the box office on Monday can name their price, in dollar increments, and half of the profit goes to the Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network raises money and awareness for local children's hospitals and it is their hope that together, we can save lives. Be sure to stop at the Toyota Ticket Office today to pick up your tickets to tonight's game, and give a little back to a great cause. Good Karma Monday is presented by Northwest Community Credit Union.

Tuesday, August 23, has gone to the dogs. literally! It's Dog Day at the park and fans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the ballpark to enjoy the game. Dog owners can take their dogs into the park and watch the game from the picnic area down the third base line. Fans who bring their pups to the game can enter the stadium on the North side near the bleacher seating. Pooch passes can be purchased at the Greenhill Human Society, or outside the gate the day of the game. Greenhill is also bringing several dogs from their center to put up for adoption at the game. Dog Day is presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon.

On Wednesday, August 24, the Ems are getting tropical! It's Luau Night at PK Park! Hawaiian shirts are welcome to one of the most relaxing nights since Pajama Night! It is also a Kids Eat Free Wednesday, fans 12 and under eat free at PK Park, thanks to Carl's Jr. All eligible fans will receive a free food voucher good for a ballpark hot dog, chips and a drink.

The Eugene Emeralds are the short-season Class A team of the Chicago Cubs. In 2015, six of the top 30 Cubs prospects spent time in Eugene including Ian Happ, Donnie Dewees and Eloy Jimenez. With 61 years of history in Eugene, the Emeralds are the longest tenured and only founding member remaining in the Northwest League.
