The Emeralds called the bomb squad in a game one series victory against the Everett Aquasox 5-1.
Emeralds' Northwest League's Player of the Week winner Hunter Bishop continued swinging a hot bat by getting them on the board with one swing of the bat in the fourth 1-0.
In the very next inning, the Aquasox broke up Emeralds' starter Mason Black's no-hit bid on a solo home run to get them on the board 1-1.
The Emeralds recaptured the lead in the bottom half of the fifth on their second home run of the game off the bat of 1B Luis Toribio 2-1.
One inning later, Emeralds' LF Vaun Brown hit his first High-A home run to make it 3-1.
To put the cherry on top, C Pat Bailey hit the fourth home run of the game to finish the Aquasox 5-1.
The Emeralds will look to go 2-0 in the series as they throw RHP Jake Wong. First pitch is at 6:35 PM, 6:20 pregame show on 95.3 The Score and MiLB.TV.
