ELMIRA, N.Y. - February 8, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals go for their 15th home win of the season tonight when they host the Kalamazoo Wings at First Arena. Tonight's game will be played as scheduled, and will not be affected by the winter weather storm forecast.
WHO: Elmira Jackals - Ottawa/NHL & Binghamton/AHL (24-18-4) vs. Kalamazoo Wings - Vancouver/NHL and Chicago/AHL (21-20-5).

The Jackals are facing the Wings tonight for the second of four meetings this season and the first of four at First Arena. The Jackals are 1-0-0 against Kalamazoo this season after claiming a 2-1 win on January 16 in their only visit to Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo makes more appearances at First Arena (3) this season than any other North Division team. Elmira holds a 3-5-2 record all-time at home against the Wings after winning two of the three meetings here in 2011-12. The Jackals (6-3-1) and Wings (6-2-2) enter action tonight as two of the hottest teams in the conference with six wins in their last 10.
Last season the Jackals fashioned comebacks in 23 of their 45 victories which included 12 while trailing after two periods. This year's Jackals team has kept the trend going with 11 of its 24 wins coming in comeback fashion; five of those when trailing after two. The biggest deficit they have overcome was three goals on Feb. 6 vs. Reading and five other times they have come back from two goal deficits. Nine of their 11 comeback wins have been since Dec. 27, and the Jackals have built a 12-5-1 record in that time.
