El Paso Chihuahuas News Release
The El Paso Chihuahuas had a season high 16 hits in their 10-5 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Monday night at Southwest University Park. Six different Chihuahuas had multiple hits in the victory.
Carlos Asuaje went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk and two RBIs on the night the team gave out his bobblehead. Jabari Blash and Christian Villanueva also went deep for El Paso, as the Chihuahuas tied their season high with three home runs in the game. All eight position players had a hit or an RBI Monday.
Walker Lockett allowed only one earned run in seven innings, tying his season high for most innings in a start. The Chihuahuas advanced to 7-5 all-time against Colorado Springs with the win.
