Eight Calgary Hitmen set to leave for NHL training camps

Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen General Manager Kelly Kisio announced today eight Hitmen will head to NHL Training Camps this week.
Of the eight players, six are drafted (Michael Stone, Brett Sonne, Ian Schultz, Carson McMillan, Paul Postma, Keith Seabrook) while two received free agent tryouts (Kyle Bortis, Martin Jones).

The above list of players does not include Karl Alzner, T.J. Galiardi and Ryan White who are all eligible to return to the Hitmen this season, but are not expected back after signing pro contracts this summer.
The Hitmen will conclude their pre-season schedule this weekend with a visit to Lacombe Friday night to take on the Red Deer Rebels before hosting the Edmonton Oil Kings Saturday night in Airdrie. Game time Saturday night is 7:00 p.m. at Airdrie Twin Arena.
