Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
Edmonton, AB - It is with deepest sympathy the Edmonton Oil Kings announce the passing of Ralph Hansch. Ralph is the father of Oil Kings' Assistant General Manager Randy Hansch. Ralph leaves behind an impressive hockey legacy that includes being the goaltender for the Edmonton Waterloo Mercurys Hockey Club that won Olympic Gold at the 1952 Winter Games in Oslo, Norway.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Randy and the entire Hansch family as they mourn the passing of a hockey champion and more importantly a cherished father and friend.
