San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes fell to Sporting Kansas City 1-0 on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan.
The Earthquakes will now prepare to host Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday, Sept. 4, presented by Mindstrong. The match will kick off from PayPal Park at 6:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports California, KNBR 1050 (English), and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).

Earthquakes Forward Ousseni Bouda Out Six to Eight Weeks with Foot Fracture
San Jose Earthquakes forward Ousseni Bouda suffered a foot fracture during the Earthquakes II MLS NEXT Pro match on Sunday, Aug. 21. The injury is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks. Bouda, 22, was selected by San Jose as the eighth-overall selection in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. He has made nine MLS appearances in 2022, as well as scoring two goals in three appearances for Earthquakes II in MLS NEXT Pro.
PayPal Park to Host Field to Table Dining Series
PayPal Park, home of the San Jose Earthquakes, will host Field to Table , an award-winning dining series from Oct. 15-30. Field to Table will feature a culinary roster of over a dozen acclaimed Bay Area chefs who will serve a curated four-course dinner on the pitch at PayPal Park. The dining series is the first of its kind to be held on professional sports fields. An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Ticket Holders will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. PT before tickets are made available to the general public on Friday, Sept. 9 at 12 p.m. PT.
EARTHQUAKES II UPDATE
Earthquakes II defeated Sporting KC II 4-1 on Sunday at Mercy Victory field. With the result, Quakes II keep their playoff hopes alive as they now sit six points outside of the top four in the Western Conference with three games left in the regular season.
Earthquakes II will now prepare to host Whitecaps FC 2 for a Labor Day showdown on Monday, Sept. 5. Kickoff from PayPal Park is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT and the match will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
