Sporting Kansas City News Release
Coming off back-to-back wins over the Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City will travel to play the LA Galaxy at 7 p.m. CT on Sunday at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.
The Western Conference clash will be locally televised on 38 The Spot with three hours of coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. In addition, UniMas and TUDN will nationally televise the match and provide an English-language live stream on Twitter. Sporting KC Pub Partners across the Midwest will be showing the match and radio coverage of Sunday's showdown will also air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
The U.S. Women's National Team will play Nigeria at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park in the team's first match since qualifying for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and 2024 Olympic Games. Tickets for the match are available online at USsoccer.com and the match will be nationally televised on FOX with coverage beginning at 12 p.m. CT.
Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma, a fundraising raffle that features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot, has returned with half of all proceeds again going directly to The Victory Project. The MLS Roster Freeze date is set for Friday, requiring all teams to submit a final 30-man roster for the remainder of the 2022 campaign. Per MLS rules, no changes can be made to a club's roster - subject to Extreme Hardship - from the Roster Freeze Date through the day after MLS Cup, which is scheduled for Nov. 5.
