
Earthquakes to Play El Sueño de tu Vida Bay Area All-Stars September 4

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that they will play the El Sueño de tu Vida Bay Area All-Stars on Friday, September 4 at PAL stadium in San Jose. The game will kick off at 8 p.m. and admission is free to the public. This match is a part of the Earthquakes partnership with Alianza de Futbol.
The Verizon Wireless Copa Alianza tournament kicked off last weekend and will continue in the upcoming weeks around the Bay Area. The matches are being played at the Central Park Sports Complex on Fremont, Calif. on August 29-30 and at PAL Stadium in San Jose on September 5-6.
Verizon Wireless Copa Alianza is broken down by age groups, the main tournament consisting of 32 teams in the adult division (Verizon Wireless Copa Alianza). There are also tournaments for boys U16, U14, U12, U10 and one for women as well.
The event also has a free soccer clinic, as well as tryouts for the U16 Alianza team, and a tryout for "El Sueño de Tu Vida", the all-star team that will be taking on the Earthquakes in this exhibition game.
