San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will host their second annual amateur photography night on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Avaya Stadium. The inaugural event last year received more than 100 applications.
The Earthquakes will issue media credentials to 10 amateur photographers for the team's match against the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, Sept. 25 (7:45 p.m.). The credentials will grant access to bring an SLR camera on match day to capture photos of the action on the field, the 7UP Epicenter, North America's Largest Outdoor Bar and everything else in and around Avaya Stadium.
This fun opportunity will allow aspiring professionals and hobbyists alike to experience working in an exciting pro-sports setting. Due to the limited amount of credentials available, priority will be given to applicants with an existing portfolio and demonstrated knowledge of photography.
Following the match, all selected participants can submit their 10 favorite snapshots, which will be featured on the team's website: www.sjearthquakes.com.
To apply, please fill out the form. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 12 p.m.
