
Earthquakes Take on Real Salt Lake Tonight

SAN JOSE, Calif. - After winning Group B with an undefeated 2-0-1 record, the San Jose Earthquakes will face Real Salt Lake in the MLS is Back Tournament Round of 16 tonight at 5:30 p.m. PT , presented by Intermedia. The match takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1, KNBR 1050, 1370 KZSF and TuneIn Radio.
San Jose finished in first place in Group B with an undefeated 2-0-1 record and +3 goal differential, the best overall record among all Western Conference teams. After a scoreless draw against the defending MLS Cup champions Seattle Sounders FC on July 10, the Earthquakes earned a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 15 and a 2-0 win over Chicago Fire FC on July 19.
All three Group-Stage matches counted towards the regular-season stats and standings, while Knockout Stage matches do not. At stake are a $1.1 million prize pool and a coveted spot in the 2021 Concacaf Champions League.
The Earthquakes are hosting drive-in viewing parties at Earthquakes Stadium in San Jose for all of their matches in the MLS is Back Tournament. The viewing parties, while free, require an RSVP due to limited availability.
