
Earthquakes, Simon Dawkins Mutually Part Ways

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club and midfielder Simon Dawkins have mutually agreed to part ways. The Earthquakes will exercise their one offseason Buyout of a Guaranteed Contract on the Designated Player and he will be placed on waivers.
Dawkins, 30, made 43 appearances (35 starts) for the Quakes since signing as a Designated Player in 2016, scoring five goals and providing two assists. He previously spent time on loan with the Quakes during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
