Earthquakes Host Philadelphia Union on Saturday for Root Beer Float Night

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will host the Philadelphia Union on Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will air live on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).

The match will also feature Root Beer Float Night presented by A&W. Local celebrities will serve root beer floats to raise money for ALS research and the American Red Cross. The event will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. PT at the Epicenter Fan Zone in Buck Shaw Stadium. Additionally, 5,000 fans will receive a mug courtesy of A&W.

Sebastien Le Toux accounted for the lone goal, a penalty kick, when the two teams met at PPL Park on April 30. The Quakes are 4-2-4 in their last 10 matches and are tied for No. 6 in the Western Conference with 21 points in 17 games. The Union are tied for No. 2 in the Eastern Conference with 27 points in 17 games.
