
Eakin Returns from NHL

Swift Current Broncos' captain Cody Eakin will return to the Broncos from the Washington Capitals of the NHL. Last season he led all Broncos skaters with 47 goals and 91 points in 70 games.
Eakin played in three pre-season games with the Capitals and recorded 2 goals in that time, including the game winner in a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins this past Tuesday.
Eakin, who was drafted by the Capitals in the 3rd round (85th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, is expected to be in the line-up tomorrow night as the Broncos host the Prince Albert Raiders at 7pm at the Credit Union iPlex.
