SYDNEY- The Cape Breton Eagles have selected Slovakian defenseman Simon Nemec (2004-02-15) with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 CHL Import Draft on Wednesday afternoon. He stands 6', weighs 190 pounds and shoots right.
Last year Nemec produced 19 points in 37 games with HK Nitra in the top Slovakian professional hockey league. He also represented Slovakia at the World Juniors.
