Published on October 7, 2009 under Central Hockey League (CHL)
Colorado Eagles News Release
WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced today that Wendy's is now the sponsor of their wildly popular six-goal shootout promotion. Fans who attend any home game in which the Eagles score at least six goals will receive a discounted offer at all local Wendy's locations (in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley & Longmont) with the redemption of their used tickets.
The Wendy's 6-Goal Shootout includes a couple of new features that will be an upgrade over the previous six-goal shootout promotion. Fans will be able to redeem their used tickets for three items off of Wendy's .99 cent Super Value menu for the price of one -- essentially equaling an entire meal for under $1! In addition, tickets will be redeemable immediately after the qualifying game and throughout the next business day.
The Wendy's 6-Goal Shootout promotion will kick into effect starting with the Eagles' preseason game against the Arizona Sundogs on Friday, Oct. 9. The 2009-10 regular season starts with a President's Cup Finals rematch against the Texas Brahmas on Friday, Oct. 16.
Tickets for all of this season's games are on sale now and can be purchased at the Budweiser Events Center box office, www.ComcastTix.com, 1-877-544-TIXX (8499), the Eagles Office in Water Valley or through any ComcastTIX Outlet.
