
Rush Cancel Afternoon Scrimmage

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush announced today that the scheduled scrimmage for this afternoon has been canceled. Rush players will be back on the ice tomorrow from 10-noon to resume training camp.
"The guys have been working extremely hard due to the competitiveness of this year's training camp," said Rush General Manager Tim Hill. "Joe [Ferras] just wanted to reward the players for their tremendous work ethic, with a well deserved, afternoon off."
The Rapid City Rush will skate one final time before the preseason games against the Amarillo Gorillas on Friday & Saturday. The final roster for the 2009-10 season will be officially announced early next week.

The 2009-2010 opening games will take place the following weekend. The Rush will play the Missouri Mavericks on Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th at 7:05 PM.
