Harrisburg Senators News Release


The Harrisburg Senators announced today that the 2004 Eastern League schedule has been finalized and released to the public. The Senators will begin their 18th season of the modern era on Thursday, April 8, 2004 against the Bowie Bay Sox in Bowie, MD. Game times will be determined and released in a few weeks.

Harrisburg's home opener is set for Thursday, April 15th, against the Altoona Curve.

Harrisburg will play each team in the Southern Division 20 times next season, but will play members of the Northern Division either six or eight times. Each team will still play a total of 142 games in the regular season.

The Eastern League will remain at 12 teams with one major change. The New Haven Ravens will move to Manchester, NH. The Manchester team, still without a nickname, will be affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays. Harrisburg will first play the Manchester team on July 9th in New Hampshire.
