The Dynamo are carrying the momentum of Wednesday's 3-1 road win over C.D. FAS in their opening game of the 2012-13 CONCACAF Champions League. Brian Ching (12th minute), Cam Weaver (19th minute) and Je-Vaughn Watson (60th minute) each delivered header goals off crosses from Colin Clark, Kofi Sarkodie and Nate Sturgis, respectively.

Toronto FC fell to the Columbus Crew, 2-1, on Wednesday at Crew Stadium. Toronto FC, after a 0-9 start, is 4-6-5 since interim head coach Paul Mariner took over on June 7, but 0-4-1 in its last five games.

Toronto is led by Jamaican forward Ryan Johnson (5 goals, 4 assists) and rookie midfielder Luis Silva, who has two goals in his last three games and four on the season.

Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis scored his sixth goal of the year on Sunday against Columbus and will set a new career-high with his next regular season goal.

Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear will tie Steve Nicol for fourth place on the all-time Major League Soccer wins chart with his next regular season victory. Kinnear has 111 wins in nine seasons as head coach between Houston and San Jose and is tied for the second best win percentage among the top six coaches on the list.

Dynamo goalkeeper Tally Hall has ten shutouts on the season. With one more shutout, Hall will tie Pat Onstad, who set a franchise record with 11 shutouts in 2007.

Houston has the longest current regular season home unbeaten streak in Major League Soccer (20 regular season games) and has set a new franchise record, eclipsing its previous mark of 17. The Dynamo's current streak is the third longest home unbeaten streak in league history.
