The Tulsa Oilers and Head Coach Bruce Ramsay are pleased to announce the signings of Derek Eastman and Sean Erickson. Entering their third season with the Oilers, this top tiered defensive pairing was an integral part of the Tulsa Oilers' successful season last year. Player-assistant coach, Derek Eastman, ended the season 4th in defenseman scoring with 51 points and Sean Erickson`s 15 goals resulted in him ending the season tied for 3rd in the league for defenseman goal scoring.
Head Coach Bruce Ramsay is excited to bring back one of the top defensive pairings in the CHL, "The leadership and offensive capabilities that these two bring to the Oilers is unmatched in the CHL, and I expect them, as defensive partners to be one of the most prolific units in the League next season." The Tulsa Oilers continue to build a team that will mirror the success of last year's squad which had its best season in 17 years.
