
Bloomington Blaze Unveils Team Logo

The new Bloomington Blaze of the Central Hockey League today announced the team's logo which will appear on game jerseys for the 2011-12 season that gets underway October 22nd at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The team's new logo, designed by Skye Design Studios, is a flaming letter "B" with the team's principal colors of red, black, and gold. (SEE ATTACHED).
"We are very pleased with how our new logo turned out," said Blaze owner Gary DelBuono. "We hope our fans will embrace it when the Blaze hits the ice this fall."
In other Bloomington Blaze news, the team will have a promotional booth at this year's McLean County Fair which runs this week from Wednesday through Sunday.
The team's booth will be inside the air conditioned Birkley Building on the fairgrounds and season ticket, group ticket, and schedule information will be available along with a shootout board for the kids. And everyone is invited to stop by and place their vote for what the Blaze new mascot should be.
The Bloomington Blaze booth will be open every day during the fair from 10am to 9pm.
The new Bloomington Blaze will be playing in the fourteen team Central Hockey League beginning in October, 2011. Bloomington will be in the league's Turner (Northern) Conference along with the Fort Wayne Komets, Dayton Gems, Quad City Mallards, Missouri Mavericks, Rapid City Rush, and Evansville IceMen.
2011-2012 season tickets, group tickets and sponsorships are now available by calling the Blaze at 309-434-2980. Our new offices are located inside the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, located at 101 S, Madison Street in downtown Bloomington.
