
Duval Makes His Way to Friendly City

Moose Jaw, SK: The Moose Jaw Warriors have acquired 20 year old forward Ian Duval from the Calgary Hitmen for the rights to Derek Grant (Langley Chiefs, BCHL) as well as a 3rd round conditional draft pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 6'0", 183 pounder has a proven record of being an offensive power. Last season, the Winnipeg, MB native accumulated 22 goals and 28 assists for 50 points. Duval has proven to be a leader on the ice as well and was the recipient of the Hitmen's Most Sportsman like Award in 2006-07.
"We are really happy to be able to add a player of Ian's ability. He will not only provide offense he also will add leadership and experience to our hockey club having played in 274 WHL regular season games and 42 WHL playoff games," commented General Manager Chad Lang.
