Durham Bulls (67-54) at Pawtucket Red Sox (59-63)
RHP Ryan Weber (7-5, 2.61) vs. RHP Fernando Rodriguez Jr. (3-3, 3.40)
After dropping the second game 5-3, the Durham Bulls face the Pawtucket Red Sox looking to even the series in the second game of a four-game series at McCoy Stadium. Ryan Weber is scheduled to get the ball for the Bulls, opposite Fernando Rodriguez Jr. for the PawSox, with first pitch scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
Durham's lead in the South Division dipped to 3.0 games with the combination of the Bulls loss and a rain out of the Norfolk Tides (64-57) against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Pawtucket's playoff hopes remain alive after taking the first two games of a four-game series, it sits at 6.5 games out of the Wild Card spot and behind the Indianapolis Indians, who have a 1.0-game lead over the Tides.
