DUNEDIN, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays host Education Day on May 6th when they take on the Tampa Yankees at 11 a.m. Over 3,600 students from more than 20 schools have RSVP'd from around the Tampa Bay area. They will be enjoying a ballgame and learning about staying fit and healthy, both on and off the field.

Education Day is a yearly event at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Kids will take part in a pregame exercise session and relay race. They'll be able to warm up their muscles and prepare for the game just like the pros. The concourse will be filled with interactive games and activities that will promote healthy living, eating and good lifestyle habits.

Players and the mascot, D-Jay, will be signing autographs before the game for the kids. Kids will be able to bring their lunch to the ballpark. There will also be concession specials, with $2 water, $2 hot dogs and $1 fruit. Kids will also be able to run the bases after the game and receive a giveaway at the main gate.

The event is sponsored by Walmart Neighborhood Market, Clearwater Gas, Crime Stoppers and the Hair Cuttery.
