Friday's Brevard County/Tampa games postponed

VIERA, Fla. - The scheduled games on Friday, May 2 between the Brevard County Manatees and the Tampa Yankees at Space Coast Stadium have been postponed due to rain.

The full nine-inning game that was suspended due to rain on Thursday, May 1 with the Manatees leading 3-0 after three innings will be completed beginning at 5:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.

After the suspended game is completed, there will be a 30 minute break and then the two teams will play a seven-inning game.

The game that was originally scheduled to be played on Friday, May 2 will now be played the next time that the Yankees visit Space Coast Stadium, which will be Saturday, May 24. On that day, a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games will be played.

Fans that had tickets to Friday's game can hold on to their tickets and exchange them at the Space Coast Stadium Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to a future 2014 Brevard County Manatees home game, based on availability.

Friday's originally scheduled Rockwell Collins Night will be rescheduled for a later date. Fans who had MetroPCS vouchers for Friday's game can redeem them at the Space Coast Stadium Box Office for a reserved ticket to a future 2014 Brevard County Manatees home game, based on availability.
