Hagerstown Suns News Release
HAGERSTOWN, MD -- Tickets are on sale now for the first-ever Dueling Pianos Night Out at Municipal Stadium, the Hagerstown Suns announced Thursday. The outrageously unique event will take place on July 9, a non-gameday, at 6 p.m.
Dueling Pianos Night Out will feature an interactive, sing-a-long performance by expert entertainers Tony T. and Wildman Joe, who will trade songs, jokes, and non-stop energy while seated across from one another at "dueling pianos."
"Before the season, we knew that we had to deliver something fresh and unique to complement the high-quality entertainment that we consistently provide at each and every home game," Suns Director of Promotions and Special Events Reed Hunley said. "With Dueling Pianos Night Out, we're bringing a level of entertainment to Hagerstown that people have rarely experienced."
General admission tickets for the event will cost $15, with domestic drafts selling for just $1.25 and great beer specials going on throughout the night. All Dueling Pianos guests must be at least 21 years of age.
VIP tables can also be purchased for $150 each, and for that price six guests will receive admission to the event, a wide variety of all-you-can-eat food, waitress service, and exclusive, up-close seating. Tables are limited, so the Suns encourage guests to make their reservations as soon as possible. General admission tickets and VIP tables can be purchased by calling the Suns offices at 301-791-6266, or by e-mailing reedhunley@hagerstownsuns.com.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Tony T. and Wildman Joe have been performing together for almost 20 years, and have opened for artists like Billy Joel and Barbara Streisand.
"Tony T. and Wildman Joe are wildly anticipating rocking Municipal Stadium on July 9," Wildman Joe said. "This will be the first time we've ever had the chance to perform on an athletic field, and that's going to give us some over-the-top energy."
For more information about Tony T. and Wildman Joe, including video of a live performance and a list of some of the sing-along standards guests can look forward to hearing at Municpal Stadium, visit www.duelingpianos.com.
During the performance, the Suns will be conducting a raffle to benefit the Potomac Classical Youth Ballet Company, with gift baskets provided as prizes by local businesses. The Potomac Classical Youth Ballet Company is a non-profit organization that educates, develops and prepares students throughout the Tri-State area who aspire to a career in dance. More information can be found by visiting their website, at www.pcybc.org.
