GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Stanislav Chistov and Chris Kunitz scored first-period goals to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 2-1 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins Sunday at Van Andel Arena.
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 24 shots for Cincinnati, which has won a season-high three straight games and five of their last seven.
The victory was also the Ducks third consecutive on the road, matching their longest winning streak away from home since February 8-10, 2002.
Darryl Bootland scored the lone goal in the second period for Grand Rapids, which has lost its last five games (0-4-0-1).
Joey MacDonald had 25 saves in the loss for the Griffins, who fell to the Ducks for the first time in five tries this season (4-1-0-0).
The Ducks complete a three-game road trip and two-game series with Grand Rapids Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena.
