CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Ryan Shannon and Stanislav Chistov scored third-period goals to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 4-2 victory over the Utah Grizzlies Sunday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Joffrey Lupul and Kurtis Foster also scored for the Ducks, who won their third straight game and remained in a tie with Houston for third-place in the West Division at 83 points with seven games left to play. Grand Rapids, which fell to Hamilton Sunday, trails the Ducks and Aeros by three points.
Frederic Cassivi stopped 17 shots for his 21st win.
Mike Garrow and Joe Callahan scored for the Grizzlies, who finished 1-7-0-0 against the Ducks this season.
David LeNeveu stopped 34 shots in the losing effort.
The Ducks play Wednesday at Chicago.
