Drive Partner with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union for Jersey Theme Night

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN - The Grand Rapids Drive, the official NBA G League Affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, has partnered with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union to host a Jersey Theme Night when the team hosts the Erie BayHawks at The DeltaPlex Arena on March 15 for a 7:00 PM (ET) tip-off. Doors open to the public at 6:00 PM (ET).

Proceeds from the night will benefit the Kids' Food Basket.

Kids' Food Basket is a grassroots, community solution to childhood hunger. They began over a decade ago by serving 125 kids each school day through our Sack Supper program and now serve nearly 7,500 kids each weekday in West Michigan. MSUFCU has designed green and white MSU-themed jerseys and, along with the already existent team partnership with Metro Health, the University of Michigan logo will be present on the jersey, making this the Drive's first Michigan vs Michigan State rivalry Jersey Theme Night.

Jerseys will be available for bidding during the game near the merchandise table. The auction will conclude at the end of the third quarter. The winner of each jersey will receive a text message during the fourth quarter and should plan on making payment by the end of the game. Winners of each jersey will receive a photograph with the player and, at a later date, the signed jersey.

Throughout the game, fans will be able to chant their favorite school's fight song, enjoy themed music, participate in the 50/50 ball toss and get involved in other fun activities.

Fans are encouraged to show their school of choice by wearing Green and White or Maize and Blue.

Thursday's game is a $2 Night presented by Meijer which will feature $2 beers and $2 hotdogs.
