Drillers Rained Out

Saturday (July 3) night's game between the Tulsa Drillers and the Corpus Christi Hooks has been rained out. The decision to cancel the game was made after several hours of rain in the downtown Tulsa area and with a forecast of more rain throughout the evening hours.
Since the game was to be the final meeting in Tulsa this season between the two teams, it will have to be made up in Corpus Christi. The game will become part of a doubleheader during the Drillers series at Corpus Christi's Whataburger Field July 8-10.
The appearance by The Famous San Diego Chicken has been rescheduled for tomorrow night, Sunday, July 4, when the Drillers host the San Antonio Missions at ONEOK Field. There will also be an Independence Day Fireworks Show following the game that is scheduled to start at 7:05PM.
All tickets purchased for Saturday's rained out game may be exchanged for tickets of equal value to any other Drillers regular season home game this year, based on availability. Tickets must be exchanged at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office at 201 N. Elgin Avenue.
