Drillers Home for Brief 2-Game Set this Weekend, April 21 & 22

The Tulsa Drillers will be back at ONEOK Field this weekend for a quick, two-day homestand. The Drillers will host the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Kansas City Royals) for two games, Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22. The game on Saturday will start at 7:05PM, while the game on Sunday will be an afternoon contest beginning at 1:05PM.
Each game will feature an exciting promotion. The opener will be a Tulsa's Channel 8 Grand Slam Saturday with a huge Fireworks display following the game presented by AutismOklahoma, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 97.5 KMOD. Sunday afternoon will be a Green Country Chevy Dealers Souvenir Sunday, Kids Eat Free game. In addition, youth baseball and softball players can go down on the field prior to the game for a free Skills Clinic with the Drillers players. Admittance for the clinic will begin at 11:30AM.

It will be the second homestand of the season for the Drillers. They opened their 2018 home slate with a six-game stand against Frisco and Midland, compiling a 4-2 record that included a three-game sweep of the RoughRiders.
The two-game set was scheduled to help ONEOK Field accommodate the two Bedlam games that will be played the following weekend in downtown Tulsa. The two weekend games with the Naturals are part of a normal, four-game series between the two teams with the first pair of games being played at Northwest Arkansas on Thursday and Friday.
This week, the Naturals roster has including a pair of big names in Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez and former Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz. Perez is on an injury-rehabilitation assignment, recovering from a knee injury. Buchholz joined the Naturals on Tuesday and carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning in his first start.
