
Delino DeShields to Rehab with RoughRiders Starting Thursday, April 19

FRISCO, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced that outfielder Delino DeShields is scheduled to begin a Major League rehabilitation assignment with the Frisco RoughRiders on Thursday, April 19, as the club begins a four-game homestand at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
DeShields was placed on the disabled list after suffering a fractured hamate bone in his left hand on March 30, the second game of the season. DeShields is expected to play with the RoughRiders through Friday before being re-evaluated by the Rangers.
The Riders' homestand against the against the Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston) begins Thursday at 7:05 p.m. The game is also being televised on FOX Sports Southwest. The series with the Hooks runs through Sunday.
The Deep Ellum Brewing Party @ The Yard returns Thursday, featuring The Bachelorette's Luke Pell. Also as part of the BIGGEST promotional schedule in baseball history, this weekend includes Jurassic Park Night on Friday, the season's first Bark in Park on Saturday and Kids Sunday Funday.
